See, it’s things like this that bother me. I understand that people are frustrated with ignorance, but counter attacking isn’t any way to reach a constructive end. In fact, all that this does is inflame those who it’s aimed at, propagating more prejudice from that than those who it’s intended to amuse.
This is no different than someone of one race making a comment about someone of another race only to have that comment overheard, thus causing a refreshed sense of distaste towards the first party from the person who the comment was aimed at.
Intended humor or not, shit gets really bothersome after a while.
